Nicholas Fares is a dedicated and empathetic psychologist with a rich background spanning aged care, the Department of Education, private practice, and the disability sector (NDIS). Nicholas began his career in the NDIS, where he developed expertise in crafting tailored interventions and assessments for individuals with disabilities. He then transitioned to the Department of Education, working in various schools, and gaining a profound understanding of the unique needs of children and adolescents. Later, Nicholas moved into aged care, where he worked with older adults, addressing their specific psychological needs.


In his private practice, Nicholas specialises in providing personalised psychological services to individuals grappling with a range of challenges, from anxiety and depression to more complex psychological disorders. Charmaine is a dedicated Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner with a strong foundation in trauma-informed, person-centred, and evidence-based practice. Drawing from a multidisciplinary

background in psychology, healthcare, education, and community services, underpinned by a lifelong commitment to service and community welfare, Charmaine is passionate about supporting individuals across all ages and abilities to achieve meaningful outcomes and enhance their quality of life.

Charmaine is trained in Mental Health First Aid and with a wealth of experience across diverse roles spanning the Department of Community, the Department of Education, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), and private healthcare practice, Charmaine brings a deep understanding of complex needs, family dynamics, and interagency collaboration. She has supported NDIS

participants through the application of functional behaviour assessment, collaborative planning and skill development strategies to reduce restrictive practices and promote positive behavioural change. Her approach is shaped by values of dignity, respect, and cultural responsiveness in the development of individualised PBS plans that aligned with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission framework.


Earlier in her career, Charmaine served in a crisis management team and held a leading role with an international organisation where she led diverse teams and coordinated emergency response procedures.

Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

Dinithi is a registered teacher with a Masters in Inclusive and Special Needs Education, and is currently pursuing her PhD, reflecting a commitment to ongoing learning and expertise. As a PBS practitioner with over 2.5 years of experience, she brings a deep understanding of developmental needs and a special interest in supporting clients across a wide age range, from children to adults (0-40).

Her holistic teaching and therapeutic approaches are grounded in the influential theories of Maria Montessori, Lev Vygotsky, and Urie Bronfenbrenner, ensuring a comprehensive and interconnected view of individual development and support.


Early in her career, Dinithi gained valuable experience across multiple industries and in mental health, which gives her a broad perspective on client challenges and triumphs. This unique background, combined with a certification in graphic design and visual arts, allows her to bring a creative and innovative dimension to her therapy sessions. She skillfully utilises these artistic tools to create engaging and personalized therapeutic experiences.

Occupational Therapist

Ron is a passionate Occupational Therapist whose journey into the profession has been shaped by both personal and professional experiences. He began his career in residential aged care, where he learned the importance of dignity, meaningful engagement, and person-centred care. These are values he holds dearly to his heart and that carry into every aspect of his practice.

Ron takes a strength-based, family-centred approach in his therapy, aiming to make sessions both purposeful and engaging.


Drawing on his own lived experience, he understands the challenges many neurodivergent individuals face in navigating the world. His time as a support worker and therapy assistant within the NDIS has also given him valuable, hands-on insight into the everyday challenges faced by families and carers. Ron always ensures that his sessions are inclusive and adaptable, while also considering the unique routines, needs, and goals of the people he supports.


Outside of work, Ron’s love for sports influences his therapy approach, bringing movement, creativity, and play into sessions to boost engagement and make therapy enjoyable.

Outside of work, Isabella enjoys exploring art and craft, which inspires her to bring creative and engaging ideas into her therapy sessions, helping her build environments where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.
